Prime Minister Koretsky says Ukraine will end automatic 100% mobilisation exemptions for defence and energy firms, letting companies request extra deferments and keeping full exemptions for those that send staff voluntarily. Penalties for evasion will rise, with the rules due by December 1.

    Ukraine to end automatic 100% mobilisation exemptions

    Koretsky said critical-industry firms can still request higher exemption quotas, and those that regularly send employees voluntarily to the military can keep full exemptions. New rules are planned before December 1.

    Ukraine to overhaul rules for reserving workers from service

    The prime minister said critical-enterprise status will be separated from economic indicators and 100% reservation offered to firms that voluntarily send staff to the military. The Defence Ministry is tightening penalties for evasion, and the mechanism is due by December 1.
